What it is

Ask your agent to quiz you and it will — once. Tomorrow it has forgotten which words you knew, which you failed, and which mistake you have now made four times. Gordito is the record it is missing: vocabulary, quizzes, answers and corrections that any of your agents can read and write.

How it works

Three things, then it runs inside the agent you already open every day.

1. Connect

   Add the connector to Claude, ChatGPT, or whatever you self-host. One sign-in, and your notebook is readable and writable from all of them.

2. Save what you meet

   Tell your agent to remember a word and it writes the pair to your notebook, with a sentence you will actually recognise later.

3. Sit the daily quiz

   Ask for today’s review. The quiz renders in the chat, you answer on the line, and every answer is graded and filed — honestly, because a generous grade is how you stop seeing a word you never learned.

Vocabulary lists are commodity and identical for everyone. The sentence you wrote and the way it was wrong is not.

The server owns when. Your agent owns what.

Scheduling is arithmetic: FSRS-6, deterministic, decided by the server and never guessed. The drill is judgement, and your agent already knows you spent the week talking about Formula 1, or that your in-laws are visiting on Sunday. A word met in a sentence that matters to you is a word that sticks. Neither half works alone.
